Just discovered Colloidal Silver a month ago. Would like to give a testimonial but am not sure if this is the place to do so. If so, here goes. My mother is 78 years old and has numerous health problems, heart, diabetes, etc. and suffers terribly from frequent urinary tract infections . This last infection started in June after 4 stays in the hospital, numerous different antibiotics, was still in constant pain and full of infection. I purchased a small bottle (2 oz) at our local health store and immediately started Mom taking it. After only two teaspoons (one a day) mom had to go back to the hospital (unrelated problem). At that time, they did a urine culture and said that was the first time since the infection started in June (almost 5 months) that they had been able to get a sample of what bacteria was involved because it had been staying in the bladder (prolapsed). They sent mom home on a different antibiotic (which cost almost $200.00) for 10 days. I decided to not fill the prescription and continue with the silver until our next doctor visit in a week. The results were amazing. The urine culture came back completely clear… no trace of any infection. Mom had been in a wheelchair because of weakness and arthritis. She is now walking without any aid and is even cooking and cleaning again. My nephew has been on antibiotics for an inner ear infection and was staying so dizzy that he could not drive his car to go to work. I took some of the silver to him and after one time of drops in his ear and taking it orally he has not had one dizzy spell. My husband and I are now taking it for allergies and can already tell a difference. I work at a college and am sharing the information not only with family but with co-workers as well. My husband and I are thinking of purchasing a generator and making our own.

Colloidal silver has really helped my urinary tract infection. I take two tablespoons a day to keep them away. I tried going to the doctor for antibiotics, but as soon as I stopped taking them my bladder infection came back. I feel so much better now that I’m taking the Colloidal sliver and it’s cheaper too than the antibiotics. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I have had many urinary tract infections over the last 15 years. In the last couple of years they became more frequent. I had surgery in April for a puitary tumor. In July I was diagnosed with Chronic Leukemia B. I was
running to the doctor about every two weeks to have my urine checked. I took a variety of antibiotics over the last year including Ciprofloxacin, Levaquin and others. I was also on a daily maintenance antibiotic. In late August I decided to try Colloidal silver. In September I went to my appointment with my regular urologist. He said that my urine test was the best ever. I told him what I had taken and that I would like to go off the daily maintenance antibiotic and try the CS. He said, “Give it a try and let me know how it works.” About 10 days later I went to the Cancer Center to have my blood checked and the white cell count was normal. I told the doctor what I had taken and he dismissed it as quackery. He told me to come back in 8 months. He seemed to think that I didn’t have Leukemia. What can I say? My last bladder infection was in early August! I take CS when I get that burning sensation.

Hello,
My name is Melody and I’ve been buying the silver and gold for a few months now. I started taking the silver when I read the testimonials about it helping Hep C, which I have. Well, I guess I have the virus, but no symptoms according to the doctors. Even though I’m tired a lot, they blame it on getting older, no exercise, depression, sleeping disorders, menopause, and on and on. I have always suffered yeast and urinary tract infections since I was 18 just like my mother. Whenever I went for my yearly exam they’d find a yeast infection and give me the yeast creams. These yeast infections never bothered me at all. I now have a liver problem and now diabetes. Well now the yeast infections were unbearable. I was buying over the counter medicines every other month with only a little relief. I have been taking milk thistle for my liver and it has been great so I started searching the web for an herbal cure for my yeast infections and read about your CS. Well I used it topically and started drinking 2 tbl. sp. a day. That was over a year ago and I have had no infection since. What a relief! All I can say is if there are any women out there suffering yeast infections, especially if you are diabetic, you need to try this. It is the only thing I found that really works. I also have noticed I do not get sick all the time like I use to.

If I do catch something I start taking extra CS and it isn’t quite as severe or it goes away before I actually catch whatever is going around. This is great for anyone with diabetes since we can actually die from getting real sick. It is also an added bonus to help my liver. My liver disease is incurable and untreatable according to the doctors. Well I’m not on pain killers yet and my liver count is almost normal. I know I don’t eat right but my herbal stuff seems to keep me from getting sick. My skin is also looking good. Here’s another genuine and true testimonial from a one time customer. Don’t worry, I just haven’t run out yet! I bought three of your bottles after doing considerable research on the colloidal silver debate. I found your explanations behind the science of how it works to be some of the best on the net. I was impressed with the lab tested and photographed particles size which is apparently so important. This is really what separates the good from the ineffective. I bought your cheaper grade (ions versus particles) since I was intending to use it to purify water. You may remember my emailing you a question about how much to use. I went on a “tourist” trip to China last summer with a large group from an area church. I took one of the bottles with me just in case. Everyone told me not to drink the water and not to eat the food. Guess what, you die if don’t drink water and eat food. At least you will get sick and weak. I figured it was starve and be dehydrated constantly, or take a chance and risk being sick anyway. I ate a lot of bad food and drank a lot of bad water. I got all the symptoms of a urinary tract infection one morning.

That day, I drank the same bad water like I had before, only I poured in some of the colloidal silver with it every time I filled my canteen. Howdy from AZ, where I am feeling ten years younger. I found Colloidal Silver after four bouts of urinary tract infections , after starting a career in truck driving. I was having such luck staying healthy of breathing problems, that when I began to get the bladder infections, I just got plain mad after four times, of course with the accompanying side effects of antibiotics. When the doctor said, “Next time I refer you to a specialist”, I took action and just typed in “bladder infections” and up came Colloidal Silver. I was sobbing at the end of the testimonials and the Free Gift at the end, since I am a Christian too. I have been free of the bladder infections, with two exceptions of mild flare-up when I wasn’t drinking water hardly at all. (You don’t do that in the desert, especially if you are under stress). Just wanted to thank you for your order of Colloidal Silver. I had a terrible infection when I got the silver and I felt immediate relief! A urinary tract infection, also called a UTI, is an infection of the bladder. The bladder holds urine produced by the kidneys.

Female Pelvic Organs

urinary Function

The bladder and the urine it holds are normally free from bacteria and other organisms. A urinary tract infection occurs when organisms are introduced into the bladder. Bacteria from the skin may enter through the urethra. The urethra is the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body. Organisms can also enter the bladder on urinary catheters.

Bacteria in the bladder are usually flushed out when the person urinates. If bacteria multiply faster than they can be removed, a UTI results.

UTIs are more common in women than in men. Women have a shorter urethra which allows easier access for bacteria.

Causes and Risks

The most common cause of a UTI is a bacteria called E. coli. These bacteria are normally present in the bowel and feces. They can be introduced into the bladder by sexual activity.

Following are some of the risk factors for developing a UTI:

advanced age
bladder abnormalities
blockage of the urethra by a tumor or enlarged prostate
diabetes
impaired bladder function
inadequate fluid intake
objects inserted into the bladder, such as a urinary catheter
poor hygiene
pregnancy

Cystitis is an inflammation of the urinary bladder or urethra. In most cases, cystitis is caused by a bacterial infection and is commonly referred to as a “urinary tract infection.”

Cystitis is usually caused when bacteria enter the urethra and bladder and cause inflammation and infection. It is a very common condition. After infancy, urinary tract infections occur more often in females because their urethra is shorter and closer to the anus.

During childhood, about 1% of boys and up to 5% of girls will develop urinary tract infections. In boys the peak age is before the first birthday. urinary tract infections are much more common among uncircumcised boys. In girls, the peak age for first infections is 3 years, overlapping with the toilet training period.

Because cystitis in children can be promoted by abnormalities in the urinary tract, children with cystitis (especially those under age 5) deserve special follow-up to prevent later kidney damage.

The risk of cystitis is higher when the bladder or urethra becomes blocked, and the flow of urine stops. It can also occur when instruments are inserted into the urinary tract (such as during catheterization or cystoscopy. Other risks include pregnancy, diabetes, and a history of analgesic nephropathy or reflux nephropathy.

Over 90% of cases of cystitis are caused by E. coli, a bacterium normally found in the intestine. Normally, the urethra and bladder have no bacteria. Bacteria that manage to enter the bladder are usually removed during Urination. But if bacteria remain in the bladder, they grow easily and quickly and result in infection.

Sexual intercourse can increase the risk of urinary tract infections in women because bacteria can be introduced into the bladder through the urethra.

Older adults are at high risk for developing cystitis, with the incidence in the elderly being as high as 33 out of 100 people. They are at increased risk for developing urinary tract infections due primarily to incomplete emptying of the bladder associated with such conditions as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostatitis, and urethral strictures.

Also, lack of adequate fluids, bowel incontinence, immobility or decreased mobility, indwelling urinary catheters and placement in a nursing home, all place the person at increased risk for developing cystitis.

Related disorders include:

Cystitis – acute bacterial
Cystitis – noninfectious (acute urethral syndrome)
Cystitis – recurrent (repeated bladder infections)
urinary tract infection – chronic or recurrent
urinary tract infection – complicated (pyelonephritis)
Vesicoureteral reflux

Prevention

Appropriate hygiene and cleanliness of the genital area may help reduce the chances of introducing bacteria through the urethra. The genitals should be cleaned and wiped from front to back to reduce the chance of dragging E. coli bacteria from the rectal area to the urethra.

For those who are prone to urinary tract infections, it may help to drink plenty of fluids, because frequent Urination flushes bacteria out the bladder. Urinating immediately after sexual intercourse may help flush out bacteria that may have been introduced with intercourse.

Signs and tests

Tests generally include taking a urine sample:

A urinalysis commonly reveals white blood cells (WBC) or red blood cells (see also RBC – urine).

A urine culture (clean catch) or catheterized urine specimen may be performed to determine the type of bacteria in the urine and the appropriate antibiotic for treatment.

Symptoms

Pressure in the lower pelvis
Foul or strong urine odor
Urination, painful (dysuria)
Frequent need to urinate (frequency)
Need to urinate at night
Abnormal urine color (cloudy urine)
Blood in the urine (hematuria)
Urgent need to urinate (urgency)
Young children with urinary tract infections may only have a fever, or even no symptoms at all.

Additional symptoms that may be associated with this disease:

Sexual intercourse, painful
Fever
Penis pain
Flank pain
Fatigue
Vomiting
Chills
Mental changes or confusion (Note: in elderly people, mental changes or confusion often are the only signs of a possible urinary tract infection.)

TESTING IN CHILDREN

Because many children with cystitis have urinary tracts that predispose them to infections, because these infections are usually preventable, and because the long-term consequences of repeated urinary tract infections in children can be severe, many children with cystitis need special imaging studies to determine why they got their urinary tract infections.

These studies usually include both an ultrasound of the kidneys and an x-ray taken during Urination (called a voiding cystourethrogram or VCUG).

Most experts recommend this evaluation for:

Girls over age 5 with 2 or more urinary tract infections
All boys with their first urinary tract infection
All children with a fever with their urinary tract infection
All children under age 5 with their first urinary tract infection

For a girl’s first urinary tract infection, recommendations vary on when a complete evaluation is necessary.

In young girls, recurrent urinary tract infections may be an indication of a urinary tract abnormality, such as vesicoureteral reflux, and should be evaluated by a medical care provider.

In boys, a single urinary tract infection indicates the necessity for evaluation, because urinary tract infections in boys are extremely uncommon in the absence of urinary tract abnormalities.
